As the Network Manager for Physician Practice Specialist, Ms. Stephens has successfully negotiated contracts for our clients. She has credentialed hundreds of physicians in her career and understands the difficulties that many practices face trying to navigate the system on their own.  She works with the insurance companies to ensure that you receive the best fee schedule for your practice and renegotiates contracts for established practices.

Ms. Stephens was a former Practice Administrator and Division Manger with the Department of Pediatrics (Kentucky Children’s Hospital) at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She understands the needs of both physicians in private practice and academic medicine and strives to reduce the stress of credentialing process in addition to the challenges faced in the start up of a new practice. She is an expert with the CAQH Universal Datasource System and has developed a strong relationship with all of our major insurance companies and CAQH.  She is well versed in individual state requirements, coding compliance and chart auditing.

Ms. Stephens is an experienced Auditor for patient charts and specializes in outpatient notes. She can not only determine any errors or omissions in your practice notes but can also make recommendations for you and design a template for your providers to ensure that they are capturing all of the required data to maximize your reimbursement.

Ms. Stephens graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2002 with a BA in Political Science. She is a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, Professional Healthcare of America, Medical Group Management Association and was named one of Cambridge’s Who’s Who Among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs in both 2008 and 2009.  Ms. Stephens is here to help your practice and will deliver consistent and quality results to your practice.
